Correct! Friar Tuck, shown here in the Walt Disney animated adaptation of the story of Robinhood, was a member of the Franciscan Order. In the animated series Friar Tuck is depicated as mole, perhaps in an attempt to display simple characteristics of Franciscan Friars. The story of Robinhood takes place during a tumultuous time between the Protestants and the Catholic church when much coruption and greed is aflicitng the peasent population.
